Overview

Vidgle is a podcast portal containing multiple shows. Shows include the flagship show, Con Goer, the first podcast show that takes viewers too sci-fi and anime conventions; AZ Tech Talk, a technology talk show; Lucky Podcast; and more! Available on multiple platforms, Vidgle is a podcast that is playable on phones, TVs, iPods, and computers.

The name "Vidgle" came to us in 2007, it is shorten for "Video single source." For our definition of "Video Single Source," it means a central area of videos which is uploaded in one source (in internet's case a domain/website.) Today, Vidgle made that possible by generating one of most advanced video on-demand sites on the internet.

In April 2009, Vidgle started podcasting in 720p high definition in a separate feed known as Vidgle HD. Vidgle HD is the first podcast that produces high definition content on ENG assignments.

On September 28, 2009, Vidgle released a new portal known as Vidgle 2.0, it is the most comprehensive portal for podcasting. With the new portal, Vidgle is able to interact with social networks such as Facebook, and have more interactivity with search engines such as Google and Bing. With the new portal, a new version of the mobile version was launched. By 2010, Vidgle will launch Vidgle TV, a version of the website that is targeted for web-tvs.

In October 2009, Vidgle now has two studios in its headquarters for its future programming. One studio will be shared with its sister flagship website, WRAJ Internet Radio. Another studio is a green room studio, which is used to produce promos and the show Lucky Podcast. The studios will not be used until April 2010. As Vidgle started to run test run its studio, the studio flooded in March 2010 and had to be reconstructed. Vidgle will start using the studio again once construction is completed. Unlike before, the Vidgle equipment and studio set will be 3D ready.

Today, Vidgle reaches 30 different countries and is accessed by 20,000 users each month.
